A match on action is when you start a movement in one shot and then continue the movement in the next shot.

Match on Action- Amy
In our short film we have used a number of media techniques to make our short film work, for instance we have added a lot of match on actions into our work to make all of the shots flow together and to avoid any 'jumps' between the shots.
A match on action is when you start a movement in one shot and then continue the movement in the next shot.
